Dogpatch Junction Band has a lot in common with the old Grateful Dead, beyond showing a shared devotion to the San Francisco music scene. Originally, the Grateful Dead Band produced a form of party psychedelic music that broke through many of the traditional sounds at concerts. The Dogpatch Junction Band has a refined street party sound that is just slightly less shocking than the music that the Deadheads enjoyed at the end of the 1960s.
